This site sets two cookies, both from Google Analytics, and nothing else. Every calculator works with cookies blocked.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the site can recognise the same browser on a later request. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by another domain are third-party cookies.

Both are analytics cookies. They are set only on the live site, never while the site is being developed. What Google Analytics records alongside them, and how Google handles it, is described in the privacy policy.
What the site does not use
- No advertising or tracking cookies. The site does not currently show ads.
- No cookies for the calculators. What you type is processed in your browser and is not
stored in cookies,
localStorageor any other browser storage. - No cookies from our host. standarddeviationcalculator.net is served by Cloudflare, which sets none on these pages.
- No cookies from Google Fonts, which the pages use for their typeface.
How to block or delete them
- In your browser. Every browser can block cookies for one site or for all sites, and delete the ones already set, from its privacy or site settings. Blocking them does not affect any calculator.
- Google Analytics only. Google's opt-out browser add-on, or any content blocker that blocks analytics scripts, stops the cookies above being set on this and every other site.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts setting any other cookie, for example if advertising is added, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before it happens, and the date at the top will change.
